Hendricks Behavioral Hospital announces, effective August 1st, that Angela Best Egler, RN, has been named Chief Nursing Officer for the hospital.
Most recently, Angela served as the Clinical Educator at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital. In her role, she led educational initiatives for the Nursing and Mental health technician team. Previously, Angela served as Clinical Nursing Manager for the Narcotics Treatment Program for Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health. Angela has a Masters in counseling degree from Union University, a Bachelors of Arts degree from Virginia Wesleyan University, and an Associate’s in Nursing from Harrison College. She is enrolled in the Masters of Nursing Leadership Track at Western Governor University.
She is the author and co-author of several consumer health books published by Simon and Schuster, including “The Everything Guide to Your Child’s Eating Disorder,” “Living with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome,” “Before Your Time: Living with Premature Menopause,” and others. Her special interests include safety, quality, diversity, equity, and employee engagement.
