We have treatment programs specifically for adolescents, adults, and older adults who are experiencing mental health and chemical dependency problems. When serious problems arise, inpatient hospitalization may be the best course of action. Our treatment programs give the individual the opportunity to surround themselves with expert professional care and start their journey to recovery.
The road to recovery begins with individualized care provided by psychiatrists, nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, licensed counselors, social workers, and trained mental health technicians. In addition to immediate stabilization of symptoms, other vital components of hospitalization include diagnosis, medication management, and detailed after-care planning.
The treatment plan begins with a comprehensive individual plan, created with the patient, their family, and the entire treatment team. All patients also receive a full medical evaluation as part of their admission process including lab work and medical diagnostics. All patients participate in individualized evidence-based therapies. Some of the evidence-based programs utilized included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Illness Management, and Trauma-Informed Care.
As the patient begins to stabilize, the next step is managing recovery, after-care, and continuing care for the patient. This process is part of the Hendricks Behavioral Hospital programs such as Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programming, or community-based services.
