Tammy Greene's profile picture

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital is proud to announce Tammy Greene as our Chief Nursing Officer. Tammy has been a nurse for 12 years, earning her ASN through Ivy Tech Community College, her BSN through IU Kokomo, her MSN through Western Governors University, and is currently completing the final requirements for her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Tammy started her nursing career working in a very busy Med/Surg unit, then took a leap of faith and accepted a Nurse Manager position at Fairbanks Hospital, where she served patients with substance use disorder for nearly five years.

Tammy is passionate about building teams and improving processes, but most passionate about patient care. Hendricks is excited for Tammy to bring her compassion for this population, her high standards for delivery of care, and her strong knowledge of behavioral health to our patients and team.

Tammy and her husband, Jeff, share 7 children between them, ranging from 22 to 34 years old. When she is not working, Tammy is hanging out with her family, snuggling with her beagles, or tailgating at a Colts game.
